    Not to be confused with the R4i. This card on;y works on DS and DS Lites that do not have upgradable firmware by Nontendo.

    If you have a DSi (or XL), then you should look at other adapters.

  • R4i SDHC (Also known as R4i Upgrade Revolution)
    Introduced as a new card when the DSi was introduced and Nintendo blocked existing R4 cards on the DSi upgradable firmware.

    The R4 comes in many varaints - be sure which card you own/buy and ensure that you use the correct firmware.
